Wasatch Aquatic Center, Heber, Utah
Design for a new aquatic facility at the Wasatch High School in Heber, Utah. The project includes a state of the art 25 yard x 25 meter competition pool with spectator seating, state of the art timing system, large step area, ADA access, and water depths from 5’-0” to 9’-0”. The activity and therapy pools are located in a separate area of the facility allowing for simultaneous programming opportunities. The 5,000 sqft activity pool includes a zero depth entry with large elevated play structure, floor deck/sprays, mushroom maze, and three animal sprays. There are 3 warm water lap lanes with a large programming area that includes water volleyball and water basketball systems. Both the competition and activity pools are constructed utilizing PVC laminated stainless steel pool technology with deck level gutters. Adjacent to the activity pool there is a concrete therapy pool complete with large entry step area, ADA lift, and multiple therapy rails. The therapy pool also houses a swim jet system that allows for therapy and training as desired.
