Southgate City Pool, Southgate, California
When the city of South Gate, California discovered its existing 50 meter pool leaking, a renovation plan was presented. The plan included the removal of the old pool and its components and the addition of a brand new state of the art Myrtha technology stainless steel pool. The new pool was designed to accommodate competitive swimming and diving, and provide a large shallow end for the neighboring community to utilize as well. The pool includes both 1 meter and 3 meter diving boards, a moveable bulkhead that allows for 25 yard and 25 meter competition course, an ADA accessible ramp, and a large stair area perfect for instruction and play.
