Monticello City Pool, Monticello, Utah
The Monticello City swimming pool is a uniquely shaped, combination leisure/lap pool. Because of the volatile climate, the city decided to build this pool as a “seasonal indoor” facility. The facility will operate from April through September each year. The facility utilizes beautiful marine wood as the main structural component to help minimize corrosion.
The pool is constructed with shotcrete and plaster pool technology and includes a zero entry with deck sprays, interactive water play feature, a one meter diving board, water basketball and volleyball components. The 3 - 25 yard lap lanes are the perfect setting for the 4 panel tall climbing wall that is the facility’s main attraction.
